Data cleanings

Data cleanings allow you to archive your back office data on a periodic basis. They also allow you to keep your application running smoothly by deleting data that is no longer in use.

Composition

A data cleaning is defined by a single data, an attribute and a period.

The data is the entity concerned by your data cleaning. For example, tasks, users, meetings, etc.

The attribute is used to define the date on which the data cleaning will be based. By default, this is the creation date. It is possible to assign any date attribute.

The period is the frequency with which your data will be archived. The possible periods are:

  • Hour
  • Day
  • Week
  • Month
  • Year

ℹ️

It is possible to delete permanently your data instead of archiving it by checking the box of the same name.

Case study

You want to automatically archive meetings that took place more than a year ago. To do this, you select the data Meeting, the attribute End at, and the period Year.
